ESR 1: Claudia Parera

Biography: Claudia Parera received her Bachelor Degree in Computer Science at the University of Havana, Cuba in 2010. After finishing her Bachelor she spent multiple years as a Software Engineer in the industry. She obtained her Master Degree in Advanced Computer Science in 2016 at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom. Both degrees were awarded with the category of Distinction. As part of her Master studies she has being actively involved in academic and industrial research applying Machine Learning techniques to solve problems in many different domains. She is currently enrolled as PhD student at Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria, Politecnico di Milano and she is an early state researcher in the ACT5G Marie Curie Project.

Research lines: Her research interests include applying Machine Learning techniques to network analytics, especially in the field of anticipatory networking for 5G networks.

Interests: Network analytics, 5G Network, Network Slicing, Machine Learning, Deep and Transfer Learning.
